I found a barely used (349 miles) Honda Grom up in Dallas so I bought it instead of waiting until February for a new one from the dealer. The seller delivered to me today out at the race track.

I really want to ride one of these and see how it can haul my 250 lb ass around. Small bikes, wheeee!

Do you live at COTA?

That's awesome. How in the world did you get to ride around the COTA solo? I didn't see another human being in that entire video, you must have some good friends.

I'm super jealous of the bike, and after seeing the video your life as well. I have the same question as everyone else: how the hell did you make that happen?

What's top speed on it?

I've read accounts of folks getting them to 70. Once it warms up a bit I'll see what I can make it do. My guess w/ me on it and sitting normally, 60ish.

I like that GoPro position for bikes. Would the GoPro mount be able to handle that position at speeds? I have literally no experience with them, but I'm looking to buy one or something similar.

that was just a suction cup mount. I'm not sure that it'd hold up well if I was really getting on it.

Slightly off-topic, and totally understand the politics of this question, but how do you like the new boss out there? He made some encouraging statements in the ABJ and a couple of other publications about working harder to appeal to gearheads rather than socialites.

I'm reserving judgement still, but initial indications are good.
